Recent Skirvin Hilton Review: "Overall I had a fabulous stay at this hotel. The martini lounge was fantastic - perfect martinis, great company and entertainment. Our rooms were incredibly comfortable and beautiful - possibly the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in! Everything was immaculate, luxurious, spacious... just stunning. A great hotel for couples or singles - walking distance to several bricktown attractions, but if it's nightlife you want, you can't do any better than the hotel itself! A couple of things to note: - we ordered a rollaway bed a week before our stay, but once we arrived we were told we could not have one because of fire code. This did inconvenience us a bit, but we managed. It was somewhat annoying though that it wasn't a problem when we called ahead of time. - the A/C in the rooms didn't work all that well. We had it set on 68 but the room probably didn't cool down any lower than 75. It was a bit stuffy, but not unbearable. - the service in the restaurant was very dissapointing. We went down for breakfast the next morning and we were told we would have to wait several minutes for a table even though there were a TON of empty tables all around us. When we complained after 15-20 minutes of waiting they finally sat us. Then it was another 10-15 minutes before someone came to take our drink order, then another 10-15 for our food order. Once we finally got our food, it was delicious and we were happy, but the slow service is very dissapointing in a hotel of this caliber. If you are going to charge $15 for two eggs and a bit of toast, you better have the service to back up those prices!"
